Central Bedfordshire are looking for an Experienced Social Worker to join their Family Support East Team, which provides long-term family support services, covering child in need, child protection and some court cases. Family Support teams compile assessments and offer ongoing support through all stages of social care. Key responsibilities include:
1. Assessment and Intervention: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the needs and risks within families. Develop and implement effective intervention plans to support positive outcomes.
2. Case Management: Manage a caseload of families, ensuring timely and high-quality interventions. Regularly review cases and update plans based on evolving needs and circumstances.
3. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, including health professionals, educators, and community resources, to provide holistic support to families.
4. Advocacy: Advocate for families within the legal and social services systems, ensuring their voices are heard and their rights are protected.
