We are currently looking for an Estate Manager to join our Land and Natural Resources Team.
We can offer a range of office locations throughout the UK and a hybrid working model. The successful candidate will be able to work within a team and under their own initiative remotely.
Main Responsibilities
In the role of Estate Manager, you will be responsible for a number of tasks including:
* Day-to-day estate management matters on freehold and leasehold industrial and commercial property
* Negotiating lease renewals and rent reviews with landlords and their agents to achieve the best possible return
* Optimising rental income opportunities generated through Tarmac’s land portfolio
* Budgeting, forecasting, and approving property-related expenditure including rents and maintenance costs
* Instructing and managing external consultants and agents
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in the role, you will have proven knowledge and experience of:
* Industrial and commercial property ownership and occupation in the UK, including landlord and tenant legislation
* Industrial and commercial property market agency in the UK
* Skilled negotiation of rent reviews, lease renewals, and estate management matters
* Strategic and innovative thinking and decision making
* Mineral and renewable energy related property experience is of interest but not essential
* MRICS qualified
