Our vibrant Soho restaurant, NOPI, is seeking a Pastry Commis Chef to join our back-of-house team on a fixed-term maternity cover contract. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop pastry skills in a supportive and creative environment.

As a Pastry Commis Chef at NOPI, you will:
Assist in preparing, baking, and presenting pastries and desserts to Ottolenghis high standards
Work under the guidance of the Pastry Chef de Partie and Head Pastry Chef
Learn and develop new skills while contributing to the smooth running of the pastry section
Help maintain an organised and hygienic workspace
Support stock control and assist in minimising food waste
Contribute to the teams creativity and menu development through enthusiasm and dedication
Ensure food safety and hygiene practices are consistently followed
The ideal Pastry Commis Chef will be:
Passionate about pastry and eager to develop professionally
Reliable, hardworking, and a strong team player
Some kitchen or pastry experience is desirable but not essential training will be provided
Enthusiastic, creative, and able to work under pressure in a busy environment
Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
