The Role
Working as part of a small finance team, you will be involved in a range of finance and administration tasks that support the day-to-day financial operations. This role is ideal for someone with a background in bookkeeping or finance, who enjoys variety and takes pride in accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
1. Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
2. Manage Accounts Payable and Petty Cash
3. Process VAT returns and reconciliations
4. Post and analyse staff expense claims
5. Run sales reports and provide admin support to the Finance Director
6. Support general office duties and other ad hoc finance tasks
Skills & Experience
Essential:
7. Previous bookkeeping and reconciliation experience
8. Strong time management and ability to meet deadlines
9. Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and email
10. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
11. Strong organisational skills and team player mentality
Desirable:
12. AAT Level 2 or above
13. Experience with QuickBooks
14. GCSE Grade A-C in English and Maths
