JOB DESCRIPTION
Personal Assistant
A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF
I am a 10 year old boy who lives in the Rhondda. I have a confirmed diagnosis of Autism and ADHD. I am really bright and charming boy. I can however on times display younger behaviours than my age implies and also some challenging behaviour.
I require a PA that will understand my condition and for encouragement and support to take part in physical activities outside of my home who will alongside keeping me safe at all times encourage my independence.
I enjoy swimming and I am currently having lessons to enable me to learn valuable life skills. I would like a PA who would actively encourage me to pursue some new, regular activities that will be beneficial for my physical health, but which will also help me gain those much needed social skills.
In addition to swimming like going to the park, the beach, the odd trip to the cinema and being out in nature on walks as this helps me feel calm and allows me to burn off some energy. My PA must also be able to travel outside of the local area so that I can access the beach and explore new places. My PA will need to ensure I am supervised at all times and will need to be patient and calm with their approach whilst I am in their care as it will take a little time for me to get used to a new person and build a relationship.
