Design and Technology Teacher - Textiles - Northampton Area Are you a creative and inspiring Textiles teacher looking for flexible teaching roles across Northamptonshire? Teaching Personnel is recruiting innovative DT educators to meet growing demand across our client schools. This role is ideal for someone with a background in fashion, interior design, or materials who can inspire students through the medium of fabric, colour, and texture. Textiles remains a vital component of the Design and Technology curriculum, allowing students to express their creativity while learning about design principles, sustainability, and product development. You will be expected to deliver lessons to KS3 and KS4 students, including GCSE-level content. Experience with sketchbooks, design portfolios, and assessment frameworks for practical work is essential. Many of our schools offer well-resourced textiles rooms, and they are eager to find educators who can bring a professional design perspective into their teaching. The ideal candidate will have experience teaching in secondary schools and will be able to bring a strong emphasis on creativity, independence, and technical skills.
