Radiodetection, a global leader in the design and development of test equipment used for locating underground utilities, is seeking a dynamic Area Sales Manager to take ownership of a strategically important territory. This region has a strong history of success, and we are looking for someone to build upon this. This is a high-impact, field-based sales role, combining direct sales with the management of channel partners and resellers. You'll be selling a premium portfolio of hardware, complemented by training and service solutions. A strong commercial understanding, coupled with the ability to re-engage former customers and deepen existing relationships, is essential. What you'll be doing: Growing territory sales across a 70% channel / 30% direct mix Managing, supporting and developing relationships with channel partners, rental companies, and resellers Driving business development with new and existing end users, identifying opportunities to cross-sell and upsell Re-engaging with lapsed accounts and converting warm leads into active customers Providing technical demonstrations and advice to customers Working closely with the wider sales and product teams to deliver accurate forecasts and insight from the field What were looking for: Proven track record in external sales, ideally selling technological solutions in sectors such as the utilities, construction, civil engineering, survey and / or equipment rental Strong experience in managing and growing channel partner relationships Commercially savvy with a customer-first mindset Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with stakeholders at all levels Highly motivated with the ability to work autonomously Experience of working with CRM systems and reporting pipelines A full UK driving licence Why Radiodetection?
