Summary
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Commercial Property Manager to join our dynamic Property Management team based in Newcastle. You will be responsible for managing a diverse portfolio commercial properties across the North of England.
You will play a key role in shaping client relationships, ensuring properties are managed to the highest standard, and supporting the wider business with your expertise. This is a role where no two days are the same, from site visits and client meetings to financial management and strategic planning.
This is a hands on role requiring immediate ownership of your portfolio, with a focus on delivering high-quality property management services and maintaining strong relationships with clients, tenants, and internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Managing a portfolio of commercial sites for key clients across the North of England.
* Building and maintaining strong client, tenant, and stakeholder relationships.
* Conducting regular site inspections and following up with clear action plans.
* Working closely with internal teams including lease advisory, building consultancy, and agency.
* Managing lease and tenancy schedules, databases, and compliance requirements.
* Overseeing income collection, arrears recovery, and financial reporting.
* Preparing and presenting professional reports for client meetings.
* Taking ownership of service charge budgets and working closely with service charge accountants.
What we need from you:
* Degree-qualified, MRICS preferred but not essential.
* Proven experience in commercial property management.
* Strong knowledge of landlord & tenant law.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle (essential for site visits).
Desirable Skills:
* Familiarity with property management systems
* Financial knowledge including budgeting, arrears recovery, and service charge management.
* Technologically savvy and process-driven.
* Experience managing or mentoring junior staff.
