We’re working with a global solutions provider for the P&C insurance industry, seeking a talented Digital Product Manager to drive innovation via the delivery of an intelligent Underwriting Workstation. In this pivotal role, you’ll help to improve efficiency, accuracy, and insight across Specialty Lines. The successful candidate will already have a deep understanding of underwriting processes and the dynamics of specialty lines and this will be evident from their CV.
Key Responsibilities:
* Take full ownership of the product lifecycle for a cutting-edge underwriting platform across complex commercial lines
* Define the product roadmap and KPIs, aligning delivery with underwriting strategy and business goals
* Prioritise features and enhancements based on user needs, business impact, and stakeholder feedback
* Engage underwriting teams to uncover pain points and co-design user-friendly digital experiences
* Deliver intelligent workflows that automate risk triage, appetite checks, and decision-making
* Work closely with engineering, UX, data science, and architecture teams to launch and scale the platform
* Bridge the gap between business and tech through backlog management, sprint planning, and stakeholder engagement
* Monitor platform performance using adoption, efficiency, and conversion metrics; iterate based on data and feedback
* Ensure compliance and security are built into all product features and releases
* Continuously refine the solution post-launch with real-time input from underwriting end users
Key Requirements:
* Minimum 5+ years Product Management experience within Insurance Technology
* Strong understanding of underwriting workflows, especially within P&C & Specialty lines
* Track record delivering complex digital tools or underwriting platforms in Agile environments
* Needs to live within 40 mins of C. London for 3 office-based days per week
* Skilled in stakeholder engagement across business and technology teams
* Experience with low-code / no-code platforms is ideal
* Comfortable with backlog management and development tools (e.g., Jira, Aha!)
* Graduate education preferred
