Responsibilities
* Drive a 3.5 tonne van to deliver groceries to customers’ doorsteps, on-time and in a great condition.
* Complete checks to ensure the van is organized, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before driving; respond to diverse locations and conditions safely.
* Serve customers brilliantly, assist with questions and substitutions, and keep customers informed of any delays.
* Build knowledge about products, services and promotions to provide informed recommendations.
* When not delivering, assist across the store as needed; maintain a friendly, welcoming attitude and a strong focus on delivering the best doorstep experience.
* Proficiently drive a large vehicle in different locations, from busy residential streets to narrow country lanes, delivering to a variety of properties.
* Work in a fast-paced, physical, high-energy environment; use initiative to solve problems, both independently and as part of a team.
* Be flexible and productive across the store when required; you will be trained in a variety of skills to learn, develop and try new things.
* Be comfortable learning to use new digital tools and technology; move shopping containers up to 15 kg.

Eligibility
* You must be over 18 and have held a full UK/EU driving licence for at least 12 months with no more than 6 points.
* You will complete an online driving risk assessment as part of your interview; if successful, there will be a driving assessment on joining us.
* You must have Right to Work eligibility in the UK.
