About T

T is a child with an acquired brain injury who requires consistent, structured support to help him develop skills, build confidence, and safely access his daily routine. The family are beginning to introduce external support for the first time, so a calm, patient and relationship-based approach is essential. Support will take place within the family home and local community, working collaboratively with parents and the wider rehabilitation team.

About the Role

We are seeking a warm, proactive personal assistant to join T’s rehabilitation team. Your role will be to support T with everyday activities, promote his independence, and help him access meaningful routines while following professional guidance and therapy recommendations.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in children’s support, rehabilitation, or additional needs who wants to make a genuine difference to a young person’s life.

* Help T to engage in daily routines, activities, and structured sessions

* Maintain high-quality daily records

About You

You will be someone who:

* Enjoys working with children and understands developmental needs
* Is calm, patient, and able to build trust gradually
* Has experience supporting children with additional needs, brain injury, or disabilities (preferred)
* Can work consistently, professionally, and with sensitivity to family life
* Has good communication skills and is confident following structured guidance
* Is reliable and committed to ongoing professional development
* Has a clean driving licence

Training Provided

All staff receive comprehensive specialist training, including:

* Brain injury awareness
* First aid

* Medication awareness
* Safeguarding (children and adults)
* Ongoing quality and compliance support throughout employment

What We Offer

* Supportive case management oversight
* Regular reviews and professional development
