Our Douglas-based firm are an Accounting and Advisory business with an international reach and focus. Owing to continued growth, they now require a Junior Statutory and Compliance Administrator to join the Compliance team.
The purpose of this role is to provide administrative support, ensuring the smooth running of a busy compliance and statutory department.You will enjoy full training and there will be scope to study toward a relevant compliance qualification
Reporting to the Head of Statutory and Head of Compliance,the Junior Statutory and Compliance Administrator will be responsible for:
* Maintenance of regulatory registers
* Maintenance of client statutory records
* Preparation of documents for filing with Companies Registry
* Incorporation and dissolution of companies
* Assisting with assessing due diligence requirements for new clients
* Transaction screening, sanctions screening,PEP screening
* Assisting with on-going monitoring of client entities
* Other duties as may be reasonably requested from time to time
* Preparing and reviewing customer risk assessments
* Assisting with compliance monitoring reviews
* Assisting with data collection for regulatory reporting
The ideal candidate for the role of Junior Statutory and Compliance Administrator will have:
* A minimum of 5 GCSEs at grade C or above (including Mathematics and English)
* Good working knowledge with Excel, Word, and Outlook
* Be able to work to strict deadlines
* Be able to work under pressure
* Working as part of a team
* Have good organisational skills
* Effective written and verbal communication skills
* Able to prioritise tasks in order of importance
Desirable, but not essential:
* Ideally at least 1 years' experience in a compliance and statutory role
