You will be responsible for
Although specific responsibilities will depend on Tesco's evolving needs, the key responsibilities include:
* Ensuring smooth operations by maintaining safety and operational standards.
* Meeting food safety and hygiene regulations.
* Leading by example to provide excellent customer experiences.
* Opening and closing the café and overseeing operations in the Manager’s absence.
* Recognising and celebrating team members for excellent service.
* Learning our menu thoroughly and assisting the team in doing the same.
* Boosting sales by ensuring optimal staffing at all times.
* Delivering Health & Safety and Food Safety training to team members.
* Supporting the Café Manager with coaching and development of colleagues.
* Continuously seeking ways to improve customer service.
* Promoting an inclusive environment where colleagues feel respected, valued, and safe.
You will need
* Experience in hospitality, with Team/Shift Leader roles.
* Knowledge of Health & Safety and Food Safety regulations.
Personal qualities
* Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.
* Confidence to use initiative to improve work processes.
