Overview
As Care Home Deputy Manager & Clinical Lead at Barchester, you will support the delivery of quality care, working closely with the General Manager and taking on leadership duties in their absence. You will inspire a multidisciplinary team to help every resident enjoy the best possible quality of life, leading by example and monitoring standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and regulatory compliance checks.
Responsibilities
* Support the delivery of quality care and ensure care standards.
* Take on leadership duties when the General Manager is absent.
* Motivate and lead a multidisciplinary team.
* Monitor standards through regular audits, supervised clinical practice and regulatory compliance.
* Develop and deliver strategies to achieve quality care goals.
Qualifications
* Registered Nurse (RN/RMN) with current NMC registration.
* Teaching/mentoring/supervision qualification.
* Experience helping residents with different health needs.
* Track record of managing safeguarding investigations and clinical risk assessments.
* HR experience, strong knowledge of sales and marketing, and understanding of budget management.
* Track record of supporting newly qualified nurses through preceptorship.
* Compassionate, resilient, and determined to deliver quality care.
