Leading a team overnight to deliver all replenishment activities across the store while actively participating in prioritising deliveries, organising the warehouse, and replenishing shelves.
Occasionally, you will run a full store operation independently during the night shift, responsible for the entire shift and the safety and wellbeing of colleagues.
Ensuring that standards are maintained at a high level come morning to prepare the store for customer service.
People management is a significant part of the role, including managing performance and capability, conducting disciplinary actions, and ensuring accurate scheduling and pay.
Our nightshift managers work full-time hours over four nights, with a £4,500 premium on top of the base salary. Night shifts typically run from 22:00 to 08:00.
Seeking someone comfortable with nightshift work, adaptable to its physical and mental impacts, and committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for the team.
Previous line management experience in a fast-paced, operational environment is required.
Resilience to handle the mental and physical demands of night work.
Ability to deliver excellent customer service and coach a team to do the same.
Experience in delivering and monitoring KPIs or other performance indicators.
Capability to manage disciplinary, performance, or employee relations issues.
Comfortable leading operations independently in the absence of senior management.
