About the Role
This role is all about making sure vehicles leave the workshop safe, road-worthy and reliable. You'll service, inspect and repair a broad mix of vehicles, and perform MOT tests to the highest standards. One day you might be chasing injectors, the next you might be prepping a vehicle for its MOT and explaining findings to a customer. You'll use modern diagnostic tools, work with a respected workshop team and help maintain a reputation for quality.

Working Hours
1. Monday to Friday
2. 8:30am to 5:30pm
Key Duties
3. Conduct MOT tests on a variety of makes and models of vehicle
4. Perform thorough inspections of vehicle components (brakes, tyres, lights, suspension, exhaust systems and emissions)
5. Accurately complete all documentation required
6. Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
7. Maintain the testing equipment and ensure all tools are functioning correctly
8. Adhere to all health and safety standards
9. Keep up to date with MOT legislation
Key Requirements
10. Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or MOT tester
11. Solid understanding of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair methods
12. Strong attention to detail and commitment to doing quality work
13. Ability to work independently and as part of a small, close-knit team
14. Full UK driving licence
15. MOT Centre Management license desirable but not required
