Munications Coordinator (Temporary – 3 Months)

We’re recruiting amunications Coordinator on behalf of a social housing organisation to provide temporary cover for 3 months. This is a great opportunity for an experiencedmunications professional to support a busy,munity focused team.
Pay: £ per hour + holiday pay
Hours: 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Temporary – 3 monthsLocation: Hybrid role – 3 days per week in the office. Weekly team day in Liverpool, with occasional travel to offices in Liverpool, St Helens and Warrington.
The Role
You’ll support themunications Manager and team by delivering clear, engaging internal and externalmunications that keep colleagues, customers and stakeholders informed.
Key Duties
1. Write content for websites, social media, newsletters and internal platforms
2. Support campaigns andmunications projects
3. Distributemunications using Mailchimp
4. Schedule and monitor social media using Hootsuite
5. Update digital content via CMS and SharePoint
6. Spot and share positive news stories
7. Monitor engagement and log media coverage
8. Ensure brand consistency andpliance with GDPR and safeguarding requirements
About You
9. Solid experience in amunications role, ideally within a charity or public sector setting
10. Confident, creative and highly organised.
11. Strong written and verbalmunication skills
12. Good digital skills, including social media, email marketing and CMS
13. Degree in Marketing ormunications desirable.
Experience with Microsoft 365, Mailchimp, Hootsuite and Canva is highly desirable.
