Senior Communications Manager (Public Relations) | £45,000–£55,000
Location: Hybrid - 1 day in the office, based in London
Are you a strategic, forward-thinking communications leader with a passion for impactful PR? An established, purpose-led membership organisation in the healthcare sector is looking for a Senior Communications Manager to join their small but dynamic team.
This is a rare opportunity to lead a talented and multi-disciplinary communications function, covering press, policy, and social media within a values-driven organisation that advocates nationally for its members.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute a fully integrated public relations strategy.
* Manage and mentor a team of advisers (press, policy, social media).
* Drive campaigns influencing policy and amplifying the organisation’s voice across various media.
* Advise senior leadership on PR matters.
* Build relationships with journalists, stakeholders, and media partners.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years’ experience in public relations, preferably in a regulated environment such as healthcare, insurance, or professional services.
* Proven strategic PR planning skills.
* Leadership experience in managing or mentoring teams.
* Ability to advise senior leaders and handle high-profile situations.
* Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills.
Offerings:
* Salary: £45,000–£55,000 basic
* Flexible working: one day per week in central London HQ
