We're on the lookout for a Welder to join our expanding client based in Shirebrook on a full time, after 12 weeks perm .
Salary: £15.50 - £16.25 per hour (depending on experience).
Hours: 07:30am - 4:30pm Monday - Thursday and 07:30am 3pm on Friday.
The Role:
This is a full-time role for a Skilled Welder/Fabricator located in Nottinghamshire. The Skilled Welder/Fabricator will be responsible for performing welding tasks including arc, TIG, and MIG welding, fabricating materials, and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Daily tasks will also involve reading and interpreting technical drawings, maintaining tools and equipment, and collaborating with the production team to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Proficiency in MIG Welding techniques
Strong knowledge of Materials used in welding and fabrication
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Relevant certifications in welding and fabrication are beneficial
Prior experience in the rail industry is an advantage
Essential Requirements:
Experience with MIG welding.
