Shape the Future: Our First Recruitment Consultant for the Nuclear Permanent Desk. As a Recruitment Consultant focusing on the Permanent Nuclear markets, you will develop the technical expertise and market awareness to identify, open, and develop new market opportunities in an inclusive and supportive environment.
We are looking for a driven and competitive person to join our diverse and successful Energy team for our first hire into a Nuclear Permanent desk. This is an exciting time to join this team! There are two opportunities in this team, focused on either a Design desk recruiting for mechanical, electrical and project engineers, or for Project Controls where you will typically recruit planners, estimators and commercial positions. You will grow what we refer to as "your desk" — a hub of activity where you’ll connect with candidates, coordinate interviews, canvass clients and work closely with hiring managers to fill vacancies. Sales activities and relationship building are integral to the role.
Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain knowledge of the Nuclear Permanent market to identify and open new opportunities.
* Recruit for either a Design desk (mechanical, electrical and project engineers) or Project Controls (planners, estimators and commercial roles).
* Engage with candidates, coordinate interviews, and manage communication with clients and hiring managers.
* Drive sales activities and build strong client relationships to fill open vacancies.
* Create and grow your recruitment desk by working in a fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
Qualifications
* Ideally, nuclear experience to meet the sector’s specialized demands.
* Engineering backgrounds with transferable skills; experience in aerospace or defence is relevant due to similar technical requirements and security considerations.
