Responsibilities
* Conduct assessments to determine the suitability of Special Guardianship Orders for children and young people.
* Provide expert advice and support to families and foster carers navigating the SGO process.
* Liaise with social service agencies, legal representatives, and other stakeholders to ensure cohesive and comprehensive support plans.
* Prepare detailed reports and documents for court proceedings and reviews.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and policies, maintaining the highest standards of practice.
Qualifications
* A degree in social work or equivalent qualification.
* Current registration with Social Work England.
* Extensive frontline experience in UK social services as a qualified Social Worker.
