A growing digital services organisation based in Newcastle is looking to recruit a Cyber Security Analyst to strengthen its internal security capability.
The company delivers technology solutions to a diverse client base and operates a cloud first environment. Security is a key priority, and the team works closely with engineering, infrastructure and external partners to maintain a strong defensive posture.
This is a full time position with flexible hybrid working.
The role offers broad exposure across security monitoring, cloud environments and vulnerability management within a collaborative and forward thinking business.
Key Responsibilities
* Triage and investigate security alerts, coordinating response activity with internal technical teams.
* Monitor and improve security controls across Microsoft 365 and cloud platforms.
* Review vulnerability and external exposure findings, supporting remediation planning and validation.
* Contribute to threat intelligence monitoring and share relevant updates with internal stakeholders.
* Support delivery of security improvement initiatives, including awareness and resilience projects.
Key Requirements
* Two to five years’ experience in a cyber security or SOC focused role.
* Practical experience with Microsoft 365 security, Defender and at least one SIEM platform.
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment.
