Overall Purpose of the Job: Working within a team to assist with the preparation and running of equipment offshore, ensuring successful safe operations in accordance with Company procedures and thereby ensuring a quality service to clients.
Key Activities And Accountabilities:
* Carry out operations with team members, ensuring safe completion.
* Ensure checks are carried out on all equipment for their compliance and technical correctness for the operation being carried out.
* Carry out and ensure participation from the team in tool box talks and planning meetings.
* Ensure that site support requirements are planned and executed as required.
* Liaise with client representatives, participating in meetings and discussions as required, ensuring continuous quality of service to clients.
* Ensure completion of required documentation for company procedures, processes, and specific client's requirements.
* Actively mentor subordinates to share knowledge and assist with their competency progression.
* Liaise with team members and the operations department as and when required to ensure all aspects of operations are discussed with the relevant parties to ensure safe operations and task completion.
* May be required to work at onshore bases in the preparation, return of equipment, and report preparation.
Job Knowledge And Qualifications:
* Technical knowledge gained through completion of competency for grade.
* Formal technical qualification.
* Extensive working/technical experience in an offshore environment is preferable.
Preferred Working Experience:
* Cementing Operations.
* Running of Service Packers & Abandonment Operations.
* Liner hanger & expandable casing accessories.
* Wellbore clean-up operations.
