Overview
Senior Electrical Engineer – Thames Valley Region. 18-24 month contract.
Responsibilities
* Manage electrical safety on site, liaising with subcontractors, suppliers, internal teams, and design consultants.
* Review and approve subcontractor safety documentation.
* Work closely with the project team to ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
* Interact with the project team to support the concept design through to construction, delivery, and project close-out.
* Collaborate with the mechanical and commissioning teams to ensure a seamless transition across disciplines and work packages.
* Represent the company as the client liaison at team meetings and in-person discussions.
* Manage changes on site, working with the commercial team to differentiate between the contract scope and requested changes.
* Inform the programme/planner about risks and durations, working on multiple schemes in both waste and potable water projects.
What We\'re Looking For
* Extensive experience as a Senior Electrical Engineer, preferably in the water industry.
* Excellent technical knowledge and understanding of electrical systems and safety protocols.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
* Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
* Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
* Familiar with the latest industry regulations and best practices.
* Holds a valid CSCS card, with additional certifications (e.g., First Aid) being desirable.
