Academic Coordinator (Summer)
EF Bournemouth Summer School is looking for a Summer Academic Coordinator to support the Summer Academic Manager and ensure smooth administration of academic programmes. The role is fixed‑term, from June – August 2026, with permanent opportunities available thereafter.

Position: Full Time/Fixed Term
Responsibilities
* Ensure smooth, effective administration of the academic programme.
* Provide highest level of customer service in the Academic department.
* Support the Academic/Teaching team by ensuring day‑to‑day running of the department.
* Manage timetabling: assign students to appropriate classes, allocate rooms, assign teachers, coordinate with Summer Academic Manager.
* Finalize timetables in a timely manner for students and teachers.
* Conduct regular checks on teacher administration, upload records of work, provide feedback as directed by Summer Academic Manager.
* Cover for teacher absence.
* Share emergency duty on a rota basis.
* Deal with student enquiries, problems and complaints as required.
* Assist with attendance monitoring (attendance checks, follow‑up, issue of attendance letters).
Requirements
* Qualified TEFL teacher.
* Customer service focused with excellent communication and people skills.
* Strong MS Office skills.
* Enjoys working in busy & varied environment.
* Excellent customer service skills, communication & people skills.
* Ability to handle difficult situations with ease, remaining calm & positive under pressure.
* Live‑in position: accommodation and full board provided at no extra cost; residential requirements apply.
* All offers subject to a clear DBS check and two references.
* Right to work in the UK.
* C2 level of English.
