Modelling Engineer
This role sits within a Modelling & Digitalisation team and focuses on developing reduced-order models for electrochemical cells, stacks, and energy systems using physics-based and data-driven modelling approaches.

Responsibilities - Modelling Engineer
* Lead development of reduced-order models to support system design and technology development
* Apply physics-based modelling and data-driven approaches to accelerate engineering workflows
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary internal teams and external partners on technical challenges
* Integrate modelling outputs into wider digital and data platforms across the organisation
* Support innovation activities, including concept development and intellectual property generation
* Communicate technical findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience & Skills - Modelling Engineer
* Degree in a STEM discipline (Mechanical, Chemical, Aerospace, Automotive, Process Engineering or similar) at Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD level
* Proven experience modelling engineering systems using tools such as Simscape, Modelica, or equivalent environments
* Strong understanding of heat transfer, fluid dynamics, electrochemistry, or related physical processes
* Experience analysing complex datasets using Python, MATLAB, or similar tools
* Strong communication skills, curiosity, and willingness to learn new technical domains
