Overview
Join a new service at Campsfield House focused on providing a high quality service to the residents. As an administrator, you will be providing a range of administrative support to the healthcare department.
Responsibilities
* Processing patient referrals, making appointments, answering the phone, updating the clinical system (Systm1), preparing for or taking notes at meetings, ordering supplies, filing, photocopying, and the list continues as needed in line with department priorities.
* Making patient appointments ensuring the clinic list is correct and the patient is advised of their appointment.
* Processing referrals to local hospitals or services and following up to ensure the referral has been received and is being processed.
* Updating S1 patient records (e.g., scanning documents to the correct record and ensuring they are appropriately coded; training provided).
* Update and maintain databases (e.g., optician, dentist, and admissions).
* Arrange meetings including inviting attendees, typing up the agenda, and preparing documents; take minutes/actions (with training).
* Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Head of Healthcare and Senior Clinical Lead as required (e.g., photocopying, booking rooms).
* Archiving, sending, and receiving written notes where necessary.
* Producing materials for nursing staff, e.g., shift planners, tick sheets, and similar documents.
* Answer the phone in a polite and friendly way, ensuring messages or agreed actions are completed.
* Support visitors and contractors to the healthcare department, including booking gate passes (where required) and escorting visitors/contractors as needed within the site.
Service Context
DrPA has been operating in secure environments since 2014 providing General Practitioner services and we are now growing to provide a complete healthcare service at Campsfield House IRC by NHS England. This will be delivered directly or through a range of specialist partners who are experts in their field. We deliver our services based on our ethos of CARE.
