Working with children with special needs allows you to teach, mentor, and support children who might find regular duties difficult. The chosen candidate will be effectively engaging children in their work and learning while teaching with their complicated needs.
SEN primary school in Salford is looking to appoint a SEN teacher on a long-term contract basis to provide their students with learning difficulties with critical and life-changing help. The school has great facilities. For this work, a 7.5-hour day will be necessary, Monday through Friday. Children with special needs, such as those who have PMLD, MLD, ASD, and global learning delays, might receive help from the school. Due to the diverse variety of demands their children have, experience working at a special education school or other type of facility is beneficial. Although not necessary, skills like Makaton, Team Teach, moving and handling, and many others are recommended.

Role Includes:

11. To make it possible for children to access the curriculum through a variety of methods
Requirements:
12. Qualified teacher status or equivalent is essential
13. Have a strong work ethic and empathy for others
14. Recognize the needs of children with special needs
15. Experience teaching learners with various learning difficulties is essential
16. Experience teaching in an SEN setting is ideal but not essential
