As a Payroll Executive, you will work within a welcoming team, reporting to the Payroll Team Leader. You'll ensure accurate and timely outsourced payroll production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations and with a strong focus on customer service. You will take responsibility for a portfolio of clients where you will identify service improvements and growth opportunities. Growing your knowledge of PAP Services and products is also key where your objectives will be measured against efficiencies, client experience, growth and financials.

You’ll make an impact by:
1. Ensuring accurate and timely payroll end-to-end production for various clients in accordance with statutory regulations within payroll deadlines and requirements.
2. Servicing multiple clients as part of a team effort to deliver excellent service to our clients by actively engaging in Client Surveys, KAM and internal audits.
3. Contribute to your team's growth by actively seeking new opportunities with your client base including HR services, People Manager and Hot Topic Items.
4. Ensuring you have up to date knowledge of statutory and legislative regulations by attending in-house training courses.
5. Increase efficiency by using Custom Imports, Data Ingestion and RSM’s own HR Platform, People Manager, this includes:StartersLeaversAbsences and work plansVariations and adjustmentsSalary changesChanges to benefits and allowances and different contract typesChild Care Voucher schemesPension deductionsProcessing statutory payments.Generating payroll reports, P45s etc., using our in-house systems and Microsoft Excel.Distributing payslips to multiple platforms.Submitting reports to HMRC via RTI.
6. Ensuring procedures and key control documents are kept up to date for auditing purposes.
7. Completing any other ad hoc duties as required.
What we are looking for:
The ideal applicant will have good practical understanding of payroll calculations, deadlines, and UK legislation and requirements, coupled with strong numerical abilities and proven experience in MS Office, in particular Excel. You will have knowledge of month-end and year-end returns and balancing with the ability to perform manual calculations, as and when required. Previous experience of working in a multi-frequency payroll environment is advantageous.
