Bring your skills to the mix as a Senior ICA Engineer, you'll play a vital role in every aspect of instrumentation and control/automation engineering on Transformational Programmes for critical UK infrastructure with opportunities to work on iconic engineering projects at home and abroad.
We specialise in all aspects of instrumentation and control/automation, within multiple challenging and engaging sectors such as Water, Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities & Development, and Education. We continue to provide industry-leading engineering solutions right through the project lifecycle, with value added through client-side support as well as construction phases. Your Purpose
1. Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes, and to high-quality levels.
2. Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
3. Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
4. Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
5. Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.
What you can bring
* Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
* Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
* Sound knowledge of ICA design (instrumentation, PLC, and SCADA systems), motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID’s, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules, and system requirements within a process/industrial environment.
* Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following applicable standards, working practices, and national guidance.
