Overview
Our Corporate function supports all ScottishPower businesses. The daily operation of IT systems is critical, and this role manages and delivers key processes following ITIL best practices and global standards for Service Desk, Request Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Configuration Management, Problem Management, and reporting.
What you’ll be doing
* Work with user communities and business stakeholders across the organization to establish and maintain positive relationships across UK & global departments.
* Deliver continuous improvement across services, building relationships with key global suppliers to ensure operational support meets quality and methodology standards.
* Actively engage in defining, reviewing, and evolving Global Operational Services; work directly with Business Centres of Excellence to deliver excellent customer experiences and liaise at all organizational levels.
What you’ll bring
* Proven success in IT service management, including service delivery, operations, and improvement.
* Proven experience in CMDB modelling & configuration management.
* Strong understanding of IT control procedures governing change, incident, request, asset, and configuration management.
* Experience defining service metrics & KPIs.
* Experience in continuous service improvement.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to influence and manage expectations at all levels.
* Knowledge of project governance processes.
* Strong experience in team leadership, supervising analysts, and accountable for daily task assignment and progression.
* ITIL (V3/V4 Foundation) certified.
* Knowledge of ServiceNow toolset with a proven track record of delivery through IT Service Management platforms.
