Responsibilities: Here's what your journey with us entails:
* Assist the Chef de Partiein preparing ingredients, cooking components
of dishes, and assembling plates according to recipes and specifications.
* Manage a designated sectionof the kitchen, such as sauces, vegetables,
or desserts, under the guidance of the Chef de Partie.
* Ensure food quality and presentationby adhering to portioning and plating
standards.
* Maintain cleanliness and organizationin your work area, including
workstations and equipment.
* Support team collaborationby coordinating tasks and communicating
effectively with other kitchen staff.
* Handle food ingredients properly, following hygiene and safety procedures to ensure
freshness and quality.
* Assist in training junior staffand commis chefs, providing guidance and
support.
* Monitor inventory and stock levelsfor your section, reporting shortages
and assisting with orders.
* Participate in quality control measures, including taste testing and visual inspection
of dishes.
Safety and
