Graduate Cover Supervisor - Secondary Schools & Academies
Locations: South Yorkshire (Doncaster) and Chesterfield
Start Date: ASAP
Salary: £460 - £650 per week / £95 - £110 per day (dependent on experience)
Contract: Full-time and Part-time roles available
The Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you will lead classrooms of up to 30 students in the absence of their regular teacher. You are not expected to plan or mark lessons; instead, you will:
* Deliver pre-planned work across various subjects, from English and Maths to PE and Drama.
* Manage classroom behaviour effectively, ensuring a productive and safe learning environment.
* Support students with their tasks, answering questions and keeping them on track.
* Liaise with school staff to provide feedback on student progress and behaviour during the day.

Requirements
* Education: A university degree (all subjects welcome) or A-Level equivalent as a minimum.
* Skills: Strong communication, confidence in leading groups, and a professional, reliable attitude.
* Experience: Previous experience with young people (e.g., coaching, mentoring, tutoring, or camp work) is highly desirable.
* Compliance: Must hold (or be willing to apply for) an Enhanced DBS check registered on the Update Service.
