Base Location: Nationwide based from one of our 20 offices nationally (excluding London)

Why Join KPMG as Resource Advisor - Audit
The Resource Advisor will work closely with the Resourcing Manager and Performance Leader within their allocated department(s) to understand the resourcing needs of the business. This involves managing the annual resource planning cycle and proactive management of ad hoc requests for non-audit projects. Developing a good understanding of the client base, pipeline of opportunities, and staff skills is essential to make informed resourcing decisions in collaboration with the Resourcing Manager.
What will you be doing?
1. Drive the year-round planning process, working with managers to understand resourcing requirements.
2. Monitor resourcing levels against budgets, challenging excess requests.
3. Chair meetings to ensure client needs are met.
4. Understand client booking requirements and staff skills, identifying flexibility.
5. Manage shortfalls, resolve clashes, and propose solutions.
6. Maintain accurate Profinda bookings reflecting current resourcing positions.
7. Ensure staff requests comply with ISQM1 standards.
8. Manage utilisation drivers and flag issues of under- or over-utilisation.
9. Participate in regular resourcing meetings.
10. Understand headcount planning and communicate issues.
11. Manage holiday requests per policy.
12. Advise on training bookings and attendance.
