Combat Medical Technician in support of Army Reserve Phase 1 Training; responsibilities include: 1. Provision of medical care and casualty management for ATR(G) permanent staff and recruits undergoing Phase 1 Basic Training. 2. Provide advanced first aid and use advanced resuscitation techniques inc the administration of non-controlled drugs ordered by a Med officer. 3. Carry out basic nursing procedures and prolonged care, whilst initiating and maintaining casualty and equipment/supply documentation. 4. Provide medical support on exercises inclusive of Med Evac. 5. Basic diagnostics, recognising abnormalities in casualty observations, body appearances and consciousness level, and reporting findings. 6. Deputise for the Platoon Sergeant if required. 7. Provide medical training to the ATR(G) Permanent Staff. 8. Establishing field medical facilities and maintain and supervise the maintenance of medical equipment.
