Due to large expansion, thepany is now looking for an experienced CNC Miller with ideally Programming, Setting & Operating experience to join and be part of their manufacturing workshop team. The successful candidate will be able to programme, set & operate with some programming experience using CNC Mills, setting and operating 3, 4 & 5 axis CNC milling machines with Heidenhain control system.
Essential duties and responsibilities:
1. Setting & Operating from using Heidehain control system.
2. Tooling selection, setter and operation of machinery.
3. Working to precise engineering drawings
4. Involved in producing small batch work and one-offs.
5. Working to health and safety procedures
This is just a summed-up list of responsibilities and other duties will be required.
Skills and Experience required:
6. Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing/engineering environment-Automotive or Aerospace-is desirable.
7. Experience of Programming & Setting CMC mills using Heidenhain control systems.
8. Able to set and operate CNC Machinery
9. Hypermill experience would be highly advantageous.
10. Ability to read and work to engineering drawings.
