What is the role?
This role will be responsible for the organisation and coordination of accommodation across the Academy, sourcing and maintaining all accommodation provision for players U12 – U21 inclusive of all Host Families and Club rented properties along with all upkeep related to these provisions.
What will you be doing?
You will drive the ongoing recruitment of Host Families, where Academy players stay whilst they are on day release at Staplewood, and work alongside the Player Care Officer and Academy Director to ensure the provision always fulfils the needs of the Academy. You will lead and manage the Host family onboarding process from start to finish, tracking all progress with applications whilst ensuring all processes and procedures with each Host Family onboarding are followed and all required paperwork is in place.
You will administer all quarterly Host Family appointments, checking on the placement and its suitability and be the first port of call for any issues relating to Hosting or Rented club accommodation, providing a regular report on accommodation to the Academy Director, Head of Player Care and Head of Safeguarding.
Other tasks include:
Responsible for all audit requirements linked to paperwork and health and safety aspects of property management – e.g tracking and monitoring of Gas safety certificate renewal.
Monitor and manage all property maintenance in relation to Club rented accommodation.
Source club rentals as and when required and manage all contractual agreements throughout this period (including property renewals) in conjunction with the Legal department. Ensuring all budget requirements are considered.
Liaise and support all Professional players in relation to the setup of each Club rental when moving into rented accommodation (Direct debits, Council tax, bills, insurance etc).
