Contracts Manager - Newtownabbey

Gentech Recruitment is delighted to partner with our client based in Newtownabbey, currently recruiting a Contracts Manager. The successful candidate will work with an established commercial project management team and alongside their in-house M&E design team, utilizing the latest Revit, AutoCAD & MEP 3D design packages.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and develop project delivery teams to ensure timely project completion.
2. Regularly liaise with clients via online or face-to-face meetings and on-site discussions to ensure satisfaction and project forecasts.
3. Ensure efficiency of managers & site teams, with high-level objectives set and achieved within target dates.
4. Confirm project value, drawings, specifications, and orders are in place before works commence.
5. Coordinate with project delivery teams to populate templates and set out for the construction team (material & dependency trackers, programmes, lessons learned).
6. Procure all plant and equipment correctly, aligning with specifications and client requirements.
7. Forecast project spend at outset and communicate projections to Operations Managers and the Commercial team.
8. Assess labor and sub-contractor requirements for installation work and team development/expansion.
9. Review and assist the Commercial team with monthly applications (client & sub-contractor).
10. Provide accurate contract variation information and monthly claims for valuations.
11. Attend monthly meetings to discuss team performance and project budget alignment.
12. Assist in the preparation of O&M manuals and ensure all as-built drawings and certificates are completed.
13. Track project performance weekly and report progress to the client.
14. Work with the Operations Manager to forecast additional resource needs.
Essential Requirements:
* Previous management experience in a similar role.
* Ability to take ownership and a willingness to grow within the team and company.

* Strong communication skills internally and externally.
* Punctuality, reliability, and trustworthiness.
* Management experience delivering projects from £3m - £10m.
