The Role As a Digital Marketing Specialist, you will play a central role in improving our online visibility, driving high-intent traffic and generating quality leads. This is a hands-on position combining strategic thinking with tactical delivery. You will work directly in support of our Personal Injury department, developing and executing SEO strategies, driving lead generation and overseeing content creation across landing pages, blog posts and satellite sites. Our Personal Injury department handles the full spectrum of injury claims, including: Road traffic accidents Workplace injuries Cycling accidents Serious injuries Fatal claims You will work closely with our experienced Head of Marketing and Digital Marketing Manager, alongside dedicated Marketing Executives. The role requires a proactive, focused individual with a positive attitude and calm approach. You should be a strong team player with a solid understanding of digital marketing principles, ensuring brand and marketing consistency across the firm. Key Responsibilities Strategy & Planning Develop and execute SEO strategies focused on driving lead generation for Personal Injury services, aligned with wider marketing objectives. Conduct keyword research and gap analysis to create a clear optimisation roadmap. Identify opportunities to improve site performance through technical and on-page SEO enhancements. SEO Conduct regular site audits. Implement schema markup and manage crawling/indexing issues. Collaborate with internal teams and external developers to implement technical fixes. Optimise page structure, metadata, internal linking and content quality across service pages and blogs. Lead Generation Use SEO strategies to generate high-quality, relevant leads. Continuously test, track and refine lead generation funnels and conversion tactics. Plan, manage and optimise paid search campaigns across Google Ads and other relevant platforms. Conduct keyword research and bid management. Write compelling ad copy. Perform regular negative keyword audits. Monitor and report on campaign performance. Analyse PPC data to improve cost-per-click, conversion rates and return on ad spend. Translate performance insights into clear recommendations aligned with wider growth objectives. Content Strategy Collaborate on content planning and production, ensuring alignment with search intent and brand voice. Oversee content creation across landing pages, blog posts and satellite sites. Analytics & Reporting Track key performance metrics using tools such as Google Analytics and SEMrush. Provide monthly performance reports with actionable insights. Use data analysis to shape future campaigns and optimise current strategies. Requirements Minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience in SEO and SEM, ideally within a lead generation-focused environment. Strong understanding of organic, technical SEO principles and on-page optimisation. Experience with Google Analytics, Search Console, SEMrush (or similar platforms) and content management systems. Confident communicator with the ability to explain SEO concepts to non-technical audiences. Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines. Data-led, performance-driven mindset with a focus on measurable results. Strong attention to detail. Desirable (Not Essential) Experience working within a law firm or with legal software. Experience managing paid search channels. Experience in brand-specific marketing. Experience supporting CRM systems (e.g. HubSpot or similar). Experience delivering targeted marketing campaigns by age and/or demographic.
