What you'll be doing As a Plant and Equipment Coordinator, you will have the following responsibilities, Maintain accurate records for Hired in plant & equipment inventory, including quantity, condition, and location. Conduct periodic physical inventory audits to reconcile records. Monitor stock levels and reorder equipment as needed to prevent shortages. Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, including quantity, condition, and location. Act as the primary point of contact for hired in plant and equipment-related inquiries and requests. Coordinate with internal departments or project teams to assess equipment needs. Communicate effectively with equipment vendors, technicians, and other stakeholders. Provide regular updates on equipment availability, status, and issues. Generate reports on equipment inventory, usage, maintenance, and costs for all hired in plant and equipment which will be used by the MEH Alliance Joint Venture Analyse data to identify trends, discrepancies, or areas for improvement. Ensure compliance with record-keeping requirements and audit standards. Identify opportunities to streamline hired in plant and equipment management processes. Stay updated on industry trends and technologies to enhance equipment management practices. Who we're looking for Do you have? Experience working as a hire controller/ manager role overseeing the effective management and deployment of plant tools and equipment to multiple end users. Great understanding of the plant and tool hire industry a must. Understanding of logistics and distribution is also an advantage. IOSH Managing Safely preferred.
