Science Department

Physics is a popular subject, with high numbers of students continuing into A-Level. Your Role

Deliver high-quality Physics lessons across Key Stages 3–5
*
Inspire students through engaging practical demonstrations and theoretical teaching
*
Support students preparing for GCSE and A-Level exams, including Oxbridge applicants
*
Contribute to the development of schemes of work and innovative pedagogy
*
Participate in science-related clubs, competitions, and enrichment events
Ideal Candidate
*
Holds a Physics or related degree with QTS (or PGCE + QTS pending)
*
Experience teaching Physics at KS3–KS5 (A-Level preferred but not essential)
*
Passion for scientific enquiry and a commitment to high standards
*
Strong communication skills and the ability to inspire confidence in learners
*
Keen to contribute to wider school life and extracurricular STEM
