Due to continued growth, we are looking to hire a skilled and motivated Fire Door Technician to join our expanding team on a full time self employed basis.
As a Fire Door Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance and repair of fire doors to ensure compliance with current fire safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
* Installation of new fire door sets
* Maintenance of existing fire doors and frames
* Completing detailed reports using digital tools (photos, measurements, compliance notes)
* Ensuring all work meets industry compliance standards (FIRAS, BM TRADA, Q-Mark, etc.)
* Liaising professionally with clients, site managers, and internal teams
* Identifying and reporting non-compliances and advising on remedial works
