Van Driver (B37 - Birmingham Area)
Monday to Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
We are currently recruiting for a reliable and professional Van Driver to join our client based in the B37 area. This is a full-time, ongoing role offering consistent weekday hours and the opportunity to work within a supportive and friendly environment.
Role Overview
As a Van Driver, you will be responsible for completing local and regional deliveries to customers and businesses. This is a customer-facing position, so a positive attitude and good communication skills are essential. You will be representing the company while on the road and at delivery points.
Alongside driving duties, there will be day-to-day warehouse responsibilities, supporting the team with preparing orders, loading vehicles, and ensuring daily operational objectives and targets are met.
Key Responsibilities
Carry out daily deliveries and collections in a company van
Load and unload goods (handball involved)
Provide excellent customer service at each delivery point
Complete delivery paperwork and follow company procedures
Perform vehicle checks and maintain cleanliness
Support with warehouse duties including picking, packing, and loading
Work with the warehouse team to ensure daily targets and objectives are achieved
Maintain a clean, safe working environment
Requirements
Full UK driving licence (Category B)
Comfortable with manual handling and handball
Good timekeeping and reliability
Friendly, professional manner with customers
Ability to work both independently and as part of a warehouse team
Previous multi-drop or warehouse experience beneficial but not essential
