Service Advisor required in Canterbury, Kent
1. Basic Salary £30,000 + OTE £36,000
2. Monday – Friday 7:30/8:00 – 17:00/17:30

7. Basic Salary starting at £30,000, with a realistic OTE of £36,000
8. Monday to Friday shifts, starting at either 7:30 and 8:00 am, finishing at either 5:00 to 5:30 pm
9. Rotating Saturday mornings (one in eight), 8:00 am – 1:00 pm (paid overtime)
10. No Sunday or bank holiday work

Your main responsibilities as a Service Advisor:
14. Welcome and assist customers, managing vehicle drop-offs and collections
15. Provide clear updates and technical explanations to customers regarding their service or repairs
16. Listen to customer needs and offer appropriate solutions, including upselling accessories or additional services
17. Prepare accurate estimates and invoices, ensuring transparency and customer satisfaction
18. Support the workshop team with scheduling and relevant information
19. Uphold the brand’s standards by promoting service plans, warranties, and relevant products
What we’re looking for in our ideal Service Advisor:
20. Customer-focused attitude with excellent communication skills
21. Past experience in a service advisory role, preferably within the automotive industry (training will be provided if needed)
22. Organised with the ability to handle multiple customer interactions efficiently
23. Confidence in managing challenging conversations with professionalism and tact
24. IT literate, with experience using automotive management software (training provided)
25. Full UK driving licence (preferably clean)
Nice to have:
26. Prior experience with dealership management systems like Kerridge or similar software
27. Background in customer service, sales, or parts advisory roles
