Fire & Security Role: Are you a Fire Surveyor - FRAEW working with external wall fire risk appraisals and PAS 9980 assessments?

The ideal candidate would have:
* Minimum 2–3 years' direct experience in FRAEW assessments
* Strong working knowledge of PAS 9980 and Building Safety Act principles
* Strong communication and technical reporting skills
* Ability to apply a proportionate, risk-led approach
* Confidence managing client relationships and mentoring junior staff
Qualifications:
* Level 6 RICS Certificate in External Wall Systems (EWS) highly desirable (or in view)
* Professional membership (IFE, IFSM, or similar) required
About the role:
A nationally recognised consultancy is expanding their fire safety team and is looking for a confident and capable Fire Surveyor to take charge of complex fire safety projects.
You will manage the delivery of Fire Risk Appraisals of External Walls (FRAEWs), including client liaison, report writing, regulatory interpretation and providing risk-based recommendations.
The role involves working closely with design teams, housing providers and enforcing authorities, as well as supporting wider fire consultancy projects such as compartmentation and fire strategies.
You will also be expected to stay up to date with legislation and promote industry best practice.
