The Role
As Audit Senior, you’ll take ownership of audits from planning to completion, leading fieldwork and supporting junior team members.
Key responsibilities include:
* Managing audits for a diverse range of clients including owner-managed businesses, charities, and corporate groups
* Leading on-site audit teams and supervising junior colleagues
* Planning audit assignments, setting budgets, and ensuring timely completion
* Preparing financial statements under UK GAAP
* Liaising with clients to resolve queries and provide commercial advice
* Identifying process improvements and presenting recommendations
* Supporting managers and partners with technical and advisory projects
About You
You will:
* Be ACA or ACCA qualified (or part-qualified with strong experience)
* Have previous experience in external audit within a UK or Irish practice
* Possess solid knowledge of auditing standards and financial reporting
* Be confident leading audit fieldwork and managing deadlines
* Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Be proactive, detail-oriented, and able to mentor junior staff
* Demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
