Ob Title: Yardman (Permanent)
Location: Essex
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Company Overview:
We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established building services company based in Essex. Due to continued growth, they are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yardman to join their team on a permanent basis.
The Role:
This is a hands-on position supporting the day-to-day operations of a busy yard. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring materials, tools, and equipment are organised, maintained, and ready for use by site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised yard environment
Loading and unloading materials, tools, and equipment
Preparing and issuing equipment to site operatives
Assisting with stock control and inventory checks
Coordinating deliveries and collections
Carrying out basic maintenance and upkeep tasks
Adhering to all health and safety regulationsRequirements:
Full, valid UK driving licence (essential)
Previous yard or labouring experience preferred
Good level of physical fitness
Reliable, punctual, and proactive attitude
Ability to work both independently and within a team
Basic knowledge of construction materials and tools is advantageousWhat’s on Offer:
