An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Room Leader to join a well-regarded provider of early years education and childcare services, operating a network of nursery settings across the region.
As a Room Leader, you will be leading the preschool room, promoting a creative, supportive, and engaging learning environment for young children. This full-time role offers excellent benefits and a salary of £25,250.
You will be responsible for:
1. Planning and delivering age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS.
2. Monitoring children’s development and communicating progress to families.
3. Supporting and mentoring nursery staff to ensure consistent quality of care.
4. Maintaining a high standard of organisation and hygiene in the learning space.
5. Ensuring safeguarding and health & safety policies are always upheld.
What we are looking for:
* Previous experience as a Room Leader, Third in Charge, Deputy Manager, Assistant Room Manager, Senior Nursery Nurse, or similar role.
* Level 3 qualification.
* First Aid certification or working towards it.
* Understanding of child development principles and practices.
* Enhanced DBS check.
