About the role:
The key responsibility of this role will be to carry out Goods Inwards Inspection of hardware to ensure that goods received from suppliers meet the criteria of the purchase order and are compliant in all respects.
Skills and Experience
1. Candidates shall have the ability to manage their workload while retaining a methodical approach and good housekeeping practices.
2. Excellent attention to detail and ability to make knowledge-based decisions to Industry Standards.
3. Ability to read technical drawings, use metrology & inspection equipment.
4. Team player who has the ability to communicate with other functions within Raytheon as required.
5. Candidates should be motivated and willing to develop within the role.
6. Good planner and organiser of work – ability to work under own initiative with minimum guidance.
7. Ability to work to timescales and meet commitments with flexibility to change priorities when needed.
8. Microsoft Office Skills: Excel, Word.
9. Communication skills
Desired Skills:
10. Training to, and a good working knowledge of, Industry Standards J-Std-001, IPC-A-610 & IPC-A-620.
11. Familiarity with the requirements of AS9100 & AS9102 would be advantageous
12. Experience in the use of SAP systems
13. Data collection and analysis
14. Use of metrology equipment including CMM, XRF & Keyance would be advantageous
15. Flexibility between Glenrothes & Livingston sites, if requested.
Responsibilities:
16. Dimensional & Visual Inspection of supplied materials and hardware using XRF, metrology & equipment for inspection, testing and analysis of materials to technical drawings & specifications.
17. Raising quality notifications and associated concerns as required.
18. Engagement with key stakeholders within the organisation.
19. Attending team meetings
