About the role We are seeking a creative, strategic, and highly motivated Social Media Manager to join our Marketing team within the School of Management. This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and execution of our social media strategy, working collaboratively across the University to strengthen our reputation and deepen audience engagement. You will play a key role in shaping our social media presence, ensuring our channels reflect the School’s brand and values, and align with the wider University’s communications strategy. You will lead the planning, creation and delivery of content across our social media channels, using your expertise to: Enhance the School’s external reputation Drive meaningful user engagement and foster vibrant online communities Translate academic research into accessible, impactful content Support student recruitment and international marketing campaigns Stay ahead of emerging trends and innovations to develop emotionally engaging content tailored to our diverse audiences, for example https://www.instagram.com/p/DKkQh8dsx3q/ You will collaborate closely with the University’s Strategic Communications, Campaigns, and Social Media team to ensure our messaging is aligned, consistent, and effectively amplified across all platforms About you You will be an experienced social media professional with a strong understanding of digital communications and audience engagement. You will bring: A good first degree or equivalent professional experience Proven experience in managing and planning social media campaigns Deep knowledge of social media platforms and their strategic use Experience in sourcing, creating and publishing content aligned with brand guidelines Strong analytical skills and experience in reporting on performance metrics Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Lnk.Bio, and Sprout Social Excellent written and verbal communication skills You will be confident working with a wide range of stakeholders including academic colleagues, students, alumni and professional services teams. Your creativity and insight will help us stand out in a competitive global education market.
